The Minnesota Conservation Federation is excited to partner with the MN DNR and Explore Minnesota to highlight Minnesotas deer hunting traditions.

Along with MNCF, Backcountry Hunters and Angler, and Bluffland’s Whitetails are also partnering to put on a Governors deer hunting event that will appeal to hunters old and new. The event will be hosted at the Eagle Bluff Nature Center near Lanesboro MN and will feature a mentor hunt event and a venison sampler feature traditional foods of the Hmong community.

Here is what MNCF Executive Director Brad Gausman had to say about the event-

“As hunters begin their preparation for opening day, consider the impact you can make by guiding a newcomer into the world of hunting,” said Brad Gausman, Minnesota Conservation Federation executive director. “Introducing someone to hunting is an investment in our shared legacy. Let’s ensure that Minnesota’s hunting tradition endures by sharing the passion this year.”
