The MN DNR is considering enacting limits for fish now designated as Native Rough Fish. These amazing fish are necessary for a healthy aquatic environment. By creating limits the message is sent to anglers and bowfishers that while there is very much a place for the harvest of these fish the idea of an unlimited harvest is unsustainable for any species. Unregulated harvest contributes to a fishing culture that undervalues these amazing fish.

You can comment on these proposed limits until June 30th. Read on for more info.
